Mass grave of, and monument to, the fallen who helped rid the Soviet Union of Nazi invaders and helped defeat Nazi Germany. Near Kalach-na-Donu, western-bank of River Don. This is the area of the horrific Battle of Stalingrad, and surrender of Nazi Sixth Army.
