Volgograd, Privokzalnaya Square, before Station One, railway.

The original fountain and statuary, heavily-damaged during the horrid battle of-then "Stalingrad", was demolished after the war.

Several replicas have been built in the city during the time of today's Russian Federation.

The name derives from a children's poem by famed Soviet-era childrens' poet Korney Chukovsky.

The children are dancing the traditional "Khorovod", which also itself its name to a nickname of the fountain: "Khorovodsky".
