The Two Biggest Lies in the U.S. Air Force

A KC-135 bearing a Strategic Air Command (SAC) audit team from Offutt Air Force Base, Oklahoma– Headquarters SAC– appears on final approach without warning at a SAC wing. 

Upon arrival, to the wing commander, the Audit-Team Commander says,  “I’m from Offutt.  We’re here to help”.

The wing commander replies, “And we’re glad you’re here”.

Yes, since the passage of the Bad Old Days and The Big Red Menace, I know, there is no more Strategic Air Command.  Yet, I’m sure you get the point.
